Title I
Title I offers valuable support through resources and evidence-based training, empowering schools to create high-quality, enriched programs tailored to meet the unique needs of students, families, and staff.
Funded by the federal government, Title I is designed to enhance academic achievement in schools with a high percentage of students qualifying for free or reduced-price meals. At Golfview Elementary, every student is eligible to benefit from Title I services, which are specifically designed to assist those needing additional support to meet state academic standards.
Our Title I plan is aligned with the School Improvement Plan (SIP). Parents elected to the School Advisory Committee (SAC) actively contribute to the development and review of these plans. Copies are available upon request at the front office or can be accessed on the school website.
At Golfview, our Title I program includes academic interventions and supports that positively impact student achievement. These include tiered instruction in English Language Arts provided by Title I staff, research-based computer programs such as Lexia Core 5 and Power Up, parent resources, professional development for educators, and curriculum nights to help families support learning at home.
