How to Participate:
1) Track Your Reading Minutes in Beanstack
Each time you read independently, log the minutes spent reading in Beanstack on from your Launchpad. Aim for 20 minutes a day or MORE!
2) Book Recommendations: Mix it up-Try new genres!
Fiction: Choose from adventure, picture book and a chapter book.
Non-Fiction: Explore books about animals, space, Fairy Tales.
Poetry: Have fun with rhymes and rhythm in books with poems.
Biography: Famous People and Events!
Students who complete the challenge by reading 420 minutes and record reading minutes in Beanstack will receive a Certificate of Achievement and a Reading Brag Tag from BPS Superintendent, Dr. Mark Rendell.
THE SCHOOL with the highest completed percentage will receive a visit from Dr. Rendell, BPS Superintendent, who will read his favorite picture book and EVERY 2nd Grader from the winning school will be given a book to take home to add to their home library.
